I. List of Police records technician duties:
  1. Provides daytoday operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of simulation, AV, and network systems and equipment.
  2. Setup, run, and strike human patient simulator equipment for clinical training and assessments.
  3. Assists in the development of technical training programs and conduct training of faculty and staff on the proper use of high fidelity mannequins, partial task trainers, technical equipment, and use of all of the Center's technical and software systems.
  4. Assist with the maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshooting of a Windows based network environment, including network hardware such as servers, workstations, cable infrastructure, and software specific for specialized simulation training and standard office software on Center's computers.
  5. Assist in video production.
  6. Operate the CSC software/technical systems in order to administer/execute a clinical learning activity or structured clinical examination for standardized patient simulation as needed.
  7. Assist in the technical system design, policy, planning, and support.
  8. Participate with the Center Director to continue to build and develop the capabilities of the CSC, evaluate new equipment, identify opportunities for technological improvement, and the policies that govern the Center's use.
  9. Participate in and receive technical training as necessary.
II. List of Police records technician qualifications

                  1.            High School degree or equivalent mandatory
                  2.            Technical training desired
                  3.            Experience with installation, service, diagnosing, and repairing low voltage systems desired.
                  4.            Ability to read blue prints and schematic drawings.
                  5.            Ability to operate hand and power tools.
                  6.            Ability to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
                  7.            Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
                  8.            Valid Driver's license.
                  9.            Valid Washington State Limited Energy License 02 or 06
              10.            Must have a reliable vehicle that is able to transport at least a 6' fiberglass ladder (van or pickup preferred)
              11.            Must have basic technician hand tools (a list can be provided)
