  1. Communicates policies and procedures received from the client to security personnel
  2. Organizes activities of all security personnel assigned to the facility
  3. Receive scheduling of all security officers on the facility from the branch office
  4. Sends in sign-in sheets of hours worked by the Officers
  5. Communicate scheduling of all replacement/extra coverage officers from the Field Office
  6. Provide appropriate assistance as needed to clients, their employees, guests and visitors in an expedient and professional manner
  7. Promote an overall security and safety awareness throughout your assigned area of responsibility
  8. Respond to emergencies as noted in the Post Orders, which may include foot or vehicle response
  9. Perform duties of a Security Officer, as applicable

  11. Manages the development of security procedures, which establish ABM SECURITY goals and objectives from information and directives received from the Client’s Property Management

  15. Set an example for ethics, demeanor, and appearance for all security personnel
II List of Police captain qualifications

  1. High school graduate, Bachelor''s degree
  2. A non-probationary police officer or higher rank sworn police classification with three or more years of sworn police service
  3. Working knowledge of state of the art police and security management methods, philosophies, law enforcement practices and legal issues; technical knowledge of computerized systems which support the wide variety of applications used in the law enforcement and business professions
  4. Valid California Driver's License
  5. Daily function may require wearing a uniform
  6. Must be available to work alternate shifts, on-call assignments and/or work overtime
  7. Ability to pass medical and psychological examinations and an extensive background investigation in compliance with California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) standards
  8. Must have attained eighteenth birthday at time of appointment
  9. An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted
  10. May be required to possess a valid Louisiana driver's license at time of appointment
  11. For some positions, evidence of POST certification must be submitted at the time of the application
May be required to qualify annually with a firearm
